This is the hairdryer in our room. Very weird. When you lift up the hose, it pulled the thingy up which turns it on automatically. So we hear a lot of off/on/off/on/off/on as we try to use it. However, Eric’s idea might just work.

Went to the Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana, planned by Michelangelo for the Medici’s. It was awesome. Lots of wonderful manuscripts, and a gorgeous interior.
